I designed a concept feature that makes it easy to add, store, and redeem gift cards directly in Apple Wallet. The project focused on prioritizing pain points of gift card owners in the context of driving meaningful usage within Apple’s payments ecosystem.
I did this by prototyping a seamless, native experience that leverages Apple's iOS 17 design system and HIG. Then, I refined it by directly observing how shoppers used the prototype while checking out in the real world.
The result is a more intuitive and accessible way for users to get value from their gift cards, while reinforcing Apple Wallet’s role as an essential part of the digital payment experience.
